The Office of Institutional Integrity and General Counsel (OIIGC) brings together the University’s audit, compliance, regulatory, legal, and ethical functions. We honor the responsibility carried in our name by upholding the highest standards of our professions.
Whether offering legal counsel, conducting audit engagements, and Title IX support and investigations, or ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, we approach our responsibilities with integrity and professionalism. Integrity is not only our guiding principle, it is the foundation of the independent, professional service we provide to UNC Greensboro.
We see ourselves as strategic partners to the University community, delivering both proactive and responsive support. Beyond campus, we extend our commitment to service through active participation in professional associations and community-based organizations. Members of the OIIGC are active members in the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), the Greensboro Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Providence Education and Community Services, Inc. Board of Directors, Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA), The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Association of North Carolina CPAs (NCACPA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), Association of Title IX Administrators(ATIXA), National Association of Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA), and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE).
