Katherine A. Skinner, CPA, CIA, CFE

Director of Internal Audit

Katherine Skinner began working at UNCG in June 2022. Prior to working at UNCG, Katherine worked for over 10 years at the NC Office of the State Auditor in the Performance Audit Division. Katherine also worked for the North Carolina Department of Revenue as a revenue field auditor.

Katherine has a Master of Business Administration degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina and Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in General Accounting from Hartwick College, in Oneonta, New York. Katherine is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
