Ronald Fulton, CFE

Internal Auditor

Ron Fulton has over 20 years of audit and investigative experience. Ron began working at UNCG for the Office of Internal Audit in August 2022. Prior to working at UNCG, Ron worked for nine years at the North Carolina Office of the State Auditor in both the Performance Audit and Investigative Divisions. Additionally, Ron worked for approximately six years at the NC Department of Health Human Services in their Audit Department.  Ron also worked in the private sector for four years in the Internal Audit Department at a fortune-500 bank. Ron has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an Accounting major, and he is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
